The Tina Thoburn Memorial Scholarship honors Tina Thoburn, a guiding force of the LVW Conference since its founding. Tina died in 2007 after a long and productive career as a writer, educator, and mentor.
This scholarship offers young writers a chance to hone their craft with the help of published experts in a supportive atmosphere. At the conference, they may focus on one genre or mix and match to explore several interests.
The scholarship is open to all accredited students in Pennsylvania who are entering Grade 11 or 12 or have just graduated from high school. The application must be postmarked by July 10, 2008.
