Sandee Gertz Umbach
 

Sandee Gertz Umbaugh, a Johnstown native, published in numerous journals and anthologies, received a PA Council on the Arts fellowship, and won the International Sandburg-Livesay Award from Meckler& Deahl Publishers of Canada. A resident of Washington, PA, she is the founder of Wash Arts, a non-profit arts center to provide fine art and literary instruction to the underserved. She is a Commonwealth Speaker for the PA Humanities Council.
